Gujarat’s food tradition in the limelight with Fortune’s Cottonlite Festive Pack
Fortune unveils a special Uttarayan-themed Cottonlite festive pack in Gujarat, blending cultural celebration with functional design to elevate kite festival joy and everyday cooking moments.
Uttarayan is around the corner, and Fortune, one of the leading players in the category, couldn’t miss this opportunity to connect with the audience. In collaboration with AWL Agri Business, Fortune Cottonlite Refined Cottonseed Oil has launched an exclusive Uttarayan-themed festive pack in Gujarat.
Why is Gujarat the chosen state?
Throughout history, pure cottonseed oil has played a major role in the Gujarati cuisine, especially in delicacies prepared during the festival of Uttarayan.
The festive pack was a hard launch. An on-ground event took place in the city of Ahmedabad. The product stands distinguished as it features unique motifs from Gujarat’s culture and festivals. The on-ground event saw the presence of renowned theatre and film personality - Siddharth Randeria. Other eminent personalities - actors Apara Mehta, Tiku Talsania and Puja Joshi were also present at the event.
Joint President, Sales & Marketing, AWL Agri Business, Mukesh Misra shared his insight on the launch: “Being rooted in the state gives our connection with Gujarat a deep personal meaning. This state is like our home, and hence, we share the immense pride in uncompromising taste in Gujarati cuisine. Families come together and bond over food, the taste and feel of authenticity are unmissable in everyday and festive cooking. Presence of tokko-ferol, a natural antioxidant positions the cottonseed oil as a healthy choice – in a way that feels genuine and heartfelt.
However, the festive pack will have limited availability – only during the festivities of Uttarayan. The initiative will be showcased across markets in Gujarat via regional television, digital platforms, radio, in-store activations and outdoor media.
