Google launches 'Gemini,' AI model exceeding ChatGPT's capabilities

Google made waves on Wednesday with its latest unveiling: the integration of its Bard chatbot with the cutting-edge artificial intelligence model named Gemini. This powerful addition aims to surpass not only ChatGPT but also other competitors in reasoning abilities.

With this move, the tech giant is ambitiously positioning itself to lead in generative AI, challenging OpenAI's ChatGPT, especially as the latter navigates internal turbulence following a recent leadership shakeup involving CEO Sam Altman's dismissal and subsequent rehiring within days.

Bard's VP, Sissie Hsiao, emphasized the transformative potential of Gemini, heralding it as the chatbot's most significant upgrade yet.
