Preventive Maintenance:
The free inspection is of the major parts of the vehicle that are most vulnerable during the monsoon. It consists of windscreen wipers, washer systems, rain sensors, headlights, fog lamps, horn function, micro filters, door and trunk weather seals, sunroof drainage systems, E-box cleaning and electrical connections.
BMW technicians will also check the tyres for tread depth, pressure, cuts and uneven wear, check over the exhaust system for leaks or damage, check the vehicle underbody for corrosion and structural integrity and undertake brake inspections including the condition of the brake pads and brake fluid levels.
The campaign also involves inspecting charging cables and high-voltage charging sockets for damage, corrosion or wear on Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs).

The campaign is part of BMW’s broader aftersales strategy to enhance the ownership experience through seasonal preventive maintenance, BMW said. Also, the BMW Joy Rewards programme of the company will continue to offer special benefits to vehicles older than five years.
