Just a month shy of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, Star Sports, the tournament's official broadcaster, unveils a promotional video starring Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
In the teaser, Bachchan, portraying his character 'Ashwatthama' from the movie Kalki 2898 AD, delivers an inspiring speech, rallying Team India for the imminent "Mahayuddh" (great battle).
"The iconic Amitabh Bachchan, embodying the formidable 'Ashwatthama' in his debut teaser from 'Kalki 2898 AD,' promises an electrifying moment for Team India's fervent supporters as they rally behind the team's pursuit to secure the T20 World Cup, reminiscent of their 2007 victory," expressed the broadcaster.
Scheduled for June, the ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will unfold in the West Indies and the USA, featuring 20 teams competing across 55 matches.
