WhatsApp Rolls Out Redesigned Attachment Sheet On iOS
WhatsApp has introduced a new media attachment sheet for iOS users that promises to make it easier for users to share recent photos, videos and files while keeping an eye on their ongoing conversations.
According to WABetaInfo's report, WhatsApp is rolling out the update to iOS users with the version 26.19.75, which brings a more compact attachment layout to chats.

iOS Sharing Update:
The new interface features a new section under the usual sharing options that provides a recent media preview, allowing users to quickly access the recently saved files without having to leave the chat window altogether, Money Control reported.
The screenshots in the report show a new recent media section that has been merged into the attachment sheet and shows recent saved photos and videos in a 4×4 grid layout.
The new layout still displays existing options like Documents, Photos, Location, and other chat-sharing tools above the recent media section.
The report said the redesign is aimed at making things more convenient by cutting down the number of steps to reach the media people share the most often, while still leaving the active conversation visible in the background.

However, the feature is currently limited to select users as WhatsApp continues testing its performance and usability before a wider rollout.
You can now access the reworked attachment sheet on your iPhone by tapping the “+” button in chats- but it’s not yet rolling out to everyone.
The redesigned interface for media attachments is anticipated to be more broadly available for iOS users in a future stable release, the report said.
