Tata Group introduces Neu Flash, a quick-commerce service, joining Flipkart and Reliance in the ultra-fast delivery market for groceries, electronics, and fashion.
Tata Group Set to Launch Neu Flash Quick Commerce Service
The Tata Group is preparing to launch its quick commerce service under the brand name Neu Flash, initially available to select users and covering essential categories like groceries, electronics, and fashion.
According to The Economic Times, the Tata Group’s e-commerce platform, Tata Neu, is joining Flipkart and Reliance Industries (RIL) in the booming ultra-fast delivery sector. As demand for rapid deliveries rises in metropolitan areas, Neu Flash aims to fulfill needs in key product segments. Neu Flash will gradually roll out to a wider audience in the coming weeks.
In the grocery segment, Neu Flash will be powered by BigBasket, which is transitioning to a full quick-commerce model. Croma will handle electronics deliveries, while Tata Cliq will focus on fashion and lifestyle products, though initially limited to certain stock-keeping units (SKUs).
This move marks Tata’s latest effort to tap into the online retail market. Currently, Zomato-owned Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto hold over 85% of the quick commerce market share. Meanwhile, Flipkart Quick offers a similar service, and Reliance JioMart has recently resumed testing its rapid delivery model after halting JioMart Express.
