Shikha Gupta Launches Creative Agency with Unique Startup Approach

Shikha Gupta, the Independent Creative Director, has officially launched her long-envisioned creative agency, marking a new chapter in her career. Currently unnamed, the agency operates with a small, innovative team of 3.5 members, including Gupta herself.

In her candid LinkedIn post, Gupta revealed the agency's resourceful and unconventional setup, describing it as "jugaadu." Their first client, super.money, has signed on as a retainer partner, solidifying the agency’s start. Gupta humorously remarked:

“After paying for Slack premium, I guess it’s real now.”

Future Plans: Open to Possibilities

Despite her excitement, Gupta admits to feeling uncertain about the future. After 11 months of freelancing, she is still deciding whether to:

  1. Stay independent.
  2. Build a larger team.
  3. Join another organization.

Gupta embraces the idea of "failing in public" and is ready to learn from the journey, no matter the outcome.

A Legacy of Creative Excellence

Over her career, Gupta has led memorable campaigns, including:

  • Bliss Club: "Bitchclub 2.0" and "Aliens Vs. Women."
  • Swiggy: Defined communications for Swiggy Instamart and Swiggy Genie.
  • Slice, Urban Ladder, and Rediffusion Y&R: Held leadership roles, excelling in creative direction, scriptwriting, and team management.

Additionally, Gupta contributed to campaigns for Ola EV and Koskii, gaining valuable insights even from projects that didn’t see the light of day.
