Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Limited (REIL), the joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited and Meta Platforms, has appointed Parminder Singh as its founding Chief Executive Officer, marking a key step in its plan to accelerate enterprise AI adoption in India.

The company has been set up to combine Meta’s AI capabilities with Reliance’s enterprise reach, AI infrastructure, and Jio’s connectivity network, positioning itself at the intersection of technology, distribution, and scale. Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, said the creation of REIL reflects a long-term opportunity to build India’s enterprise AI ecosystem. He previously served as Chief Commercial and Digital Officer at Mediacorp, where he led initiatives focused on digital transformation and AI-led business models.

More recently, Singh has been active in the startup ecosystem, co-founding ClayboxAI and WeKamp, both focused on emerging technology applications. His background suggests a mix of corporate scale and entrepreneurial agility, which is likely to shape how REIL approaches the market.
