Kenstar Introduces ‘No Phone Hour’ Nationwide Campaign for August 15

To mark India’s 78th Independence Day, Kenstar has announced a nationwide initiative titled ‘No Phone Hour’, encouraging citizens to disconnect from their devices and reconnect with people around them.

The campaign calls for individuals across the country to switch off their phones on 15th August between 6 PM and 7 PM, dedicating that hour to meaningful, offline time with family, friends, and loved ones.

Sunil Jain, CEO of Kenstar, explained the vision behind the initiative:
“This is more than just a campaign—it’s a call to reflect on what freedom truly means in today’s world. In an age where we may have thousands of followers online, many of us are still yearning for genuine human connection. ‘No Phone Hour’ is a small step toward reclaiming that connection. As responsible citizens, we urge everyone to embrace the freedom of individuality and celebrate Independence Day in the company of those who matter most.”

The #NoPhoneHour campaign invites people to take a collective pledge to disconnect from the virtual world for 60 minutes and experience the deeper value of real-world interactions. Kenstar hopes the initiative will spark a nationwide conversation around redefining freedom—not just as a national value, but as a personal one in the digital era.
