Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has unveiled the theme for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), with Amitabh Bachchan returning as host for Season 18. Titled ‘Sochna Padega’, the new campaign highlights the importance of applying knowledge rather than simply possessing it.
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 will premiere on August 10, 2026, at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. The quiz show will air every Monday to Friday.
Built around the idea that information is now widely accessible, the campaign argues that the real advantage lies in interpreting, connecting and applying knowledge effectively.
New Theme:
The campaign comes alive through a series of brand films featuring Amitabh Bachchan in everyday situations. The films emphasise that while technology has transformed the way people access information, critical thinking, analysis and decision-making remain the qualities that truly set individuals apart.
The campaign's central message is captured in the line: "Kyunki is baar KBC par jawab yaad rakhne se kaam nahi chalega… Sochna Padega."
