Zee Media has announced the appointment of Surbhi Nagpal as the National Sales Head for its leading news channels, Wion and Zee Business. Based in Noida, Nagpal is set to focus on revenue generation, streamlining sales processes, and boosting profitability for both channels.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Nagpal brings extensive experience in linear and digital sales, having held influential positions at NDTV India, Discovery Communications India, Disney+ Hotstar, and Outbrain. Her remarkable expertise lies in driving revenue growth, building strong partnerships, and navigating the complex media landscape.

Before venturing into the media industry, Nagpal started her professional journey at Taj Hotels, Delhi, where she quickly advanced to the role of Deputy Manager Sales within four years. She then gained critical insights into customer relations and strategic planning during her tenure at American Express.

Nagpal's transition to the television industry marked the beginning of an impressive career, where she took on senior roles, including Vice President Sales at NDTV Lifestyle and National Head of International Business at Star India. At Disney+ Hotstar, she managed the FMCG (F&B) vertical as National Vertical Head, later moving on to Discovery Communications as Director Sales.

Nagpal's ability to adapt to the ever-changing dynamics of the media industry and her track record of leading successful sales teams make her a valuable addition to Zee Media. Her leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening Wion and Zee Business, ensuring they remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
