Ahead of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, Visa has unveiled its new campaign ‘Small steps, Olympic dreams’ featuring Olympic champions Neeraj Chopra and PV Sindhu. This campaign marks their first collaboration as Team Visa Athletes and emphasizes the power of small, everyday steps in achieving bigger ambitions.

The campaign includes a 1-minute film showcasing Neeraj and Sindhu as they prepare, compete, and succeed in their respective sports, with Visa as their steadfast partner. The campaign aims to strengthen Visa’s emotional connection with Indians cheering for these athletes, inspiring the young population to unlock their own potential and chase their dreams.

The ad film highlights that the success of champions like Neeraj and Sindhu began with a single step and a big dream. Their daily determination, discipline, and diligence have driven them to success. By adopting an aspirational appeal, Visa shows that every transaction with its secure payment options represents progress.

Neeraj Chopra, Olympic gold medallist and World Champion in Men’s Javelin Throw, shared his excitement: “I'm thrilled to participate in the Paris Olympics, my second appearance at the Games, a dream since childhood. Conceptualized by Leo Burnett India, the campaign is a tribute to the determination and resilience of athletes. It appeals to everyone striving to achieve their goals, moving closer one step at a time.

The ad film will be showcased across mass media, including Television, YouTube, social media, and OTT platforms, launched in India’s top 20 cities for 1 month via Television. Visa has partnered with nearly 100 channels, including Hindi and regional languages, across various genres such as GECs, movies, news, and sports. They will also be featured on 12 sports channels in India. Additionally, Visa will engage with Olympic enthusiasts through contests and promotions on YouTube and social media across the top 20 cities.
